Hi,
I've just upgraded Kodi from 17.6 to 18.4, and wanted to put back the Aeon Nox skin, so went for the latest - Silvio - via the Kodi repository.

However, when Kodi loads there are menu items missing. I think it's only the text that's missing, because the entry can be clicked/activated and the sub-menus do what they should. You just can't see the entry names.

Text is missing from the main Aeon menu 'roll' - typically 'Apps' disappears and the sub-menu nder 'Movies' (renamed to 'Films'), has 'Recently Added' missing.

A bunch of others disappear under Skin\Configure Skin and its sub-menus.

I'd like to get it working properly, so was wondering if anyone can help before I do a full re-install?

Do you use Profiles?

Looks like the Kodi Profiles bug to me.

You can reload the skin using the shutdown menu and that usually fixes it.

Hi, thanks for responding.

Yes, I do use profiles (to separate the kids' videos from my John Wick etc.).

If I reload the skin it does sort it out but I have to do it every time. Actually, I only have to do that if I want to use the options in the Skin Settings menus, so it's not too bad.

I found if I manually type in the labels for the main menu items, they then don't disappear, so it's usable.

I'll check out the Kodi Profile bug - haven't come across that until now with Leia 18.4

Thanks for the link. I'm going to go back to Krypton 17.6 seeing as there are other problems in Leia as well.
