So I just spent the last 4hrs trying to get Kodi onto an iPad with my windows machine, failing every time until I found 3uTools.
Here's what I did to install:
- Download and launch 3uTools http://www.3u.com/
- Jailbreak iPad "Flash & JB" >> Select the version you want to work with. In my case it was an old Ipad on ios 10.3.3
- Run jailbreak on the ipad and wait for reboot
- Install Appsync using 3uTools
- Install 7zip
- Download the DEB file from kodi here: http://mirrors.kodi.tv/releases/darwin/
- Convert the DEB >> IPA file using the instructions here: https://kodi.wiki/view/HOW-TO:Install_Ko...b_into_ipa
- Go back to 3uTools >> iDevice >> Apps >> import and install IPA
- Select the .ipa file you created and it should install
I tried with Cydia and also with Cydia Impactor which both seem broken on my 32bit ipad and windows machine. 3uTools worked perfectly.
Hope this helps someone!
