Happy new year to all of you and special thanks to all contributors and developpers of this great software !
I'm using KODI on a Sony KD55-XG9505 TV under Android 8.0.

Works very fine (far better than the default media player that comes with the TV).

BUT I get repeated crashes. Tried to find similar reports but was not successful.
Problem exists on 18.5 and 18.4.

Description:
After days or weeks of use, Kodi won't start anymore (trying to kill the app or restart the TV does not help). Short black screen and back to main Android TV menu at the 1st attempt, then black screen at the 2nd attempt.
When this happens, all information about memory usage is either empty or "calculating".
The only way is to "clear data" (or clear the cache ... I don't remember).
I could live with this issue but I have to fully reconfigure KODI each time.
I don't think I do anything special before the crash.
The only other App installed on this system is "MyCanal".
The only Kodi extension installed is Youtube.

Any idea ?
