I do not have an iPhone (yet) but this new remote app really seems slick! Cool

Just checkout these videos!

...someone should replicate it for a new Remote Control App for XBMC Wink

Would basically enable multi touch iPhone touchscreen style navigation via a such app.

Yep , the XBMC Remote has had a gesture remote for ages now. Also has a button remote for the more advanced control features of XBMC.

Wow that's very cool.. that's the way it should be, one shouldn't have to look at the remote to operate. Very nice Smile

But the problem is, that the xbmc remote is not very stable. It crash very often.

@mediajunkie

Are you running OS 3.0? If you are, the crashes will stop when the new version of the app hits the app store. In true Apple fashion, they seem to be taking their time approving the update Wink

There is a thread somewhere about an app on android and there is one for boxee on the market, first isn't touch friendly and second I didn't like that much.

However I have started somewhat creating a remote for android as of right now and hope to have the fundamentals ready soon.
