Solved How to get KODI to recognize a new skin as separate from the modified one?
#1
ok, so i am trying to emulate my old meedio skins as i am now trying to master KODI for the 64 bit world.  i am in my newbie baby steps in dealing with KODI skins, and my first step is to start by trying to figure out how to get KODI to recognize a new skin as separate from the modified one so i can go about skinning?

i thought i did what i needed to do, but obviously i did not

1.  i copied the directory, skin.estuary to AppData\...........\ addons
2. i renamed it skin.meece
3. i edited the addon.xml file as follows:

<addon id="skin.meece" version="0.1" name="MeeCE" provider-name="YerMusic (IO)">

...but no-go!

What else do i need to do?

What isn't working? Have you made sure you've enabled it?
