Hi everyone,

I'm currently using SVN 14542 on Ubuntu 8.04_i686 which I downloaded from PPA. About a week ago the xbmc build I was using had support for SSA subtitles in a matroska container. But now, SSA subtitles are only rendered using the default subtitle settings in xbmc. Is there a setting that needs to be changed inorder to enable SSA/ASS subtitle rendering? If there is, I can't seem to find it.

from what i could understand from that log, i seem to be missing the libass-i486-linux.so file needed to render the subtitle correctly, so i tried a clean install, still no luck. thanks for the help.

Yup, typo in the Makefile. Should be fixed in r14554, so you'll see it next successful PPA build.
