Hello, I bought a NVidia Shield TV 2019 Pro and installed the latest Kodi version. Now I have the problem that the video jerks a lot when playing DVD ISO files. I configured "Adjust display refresh rate" "On start / stop" in the Settings/Player/Videos menue and my TV shows me also the correct 50Hz. Nevertheless the video is jerking.
Now I found out that the judder is gone when I deactivate "Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec (Surface)" and "Allow hardware acceleration - MediaCodec" in Settings/Player/Videos. Again, the correct 50Hz are displayed on the TV and the video runs smoothly.
Where does the problem come from? Is it the software (Kodi) or is it the hardware "Nvidia Shield TV 2019 Pro"?
Do I have to expect any disadvantages by deactivating?
