@phunkyfish  a user is trying the new transcoded timeshift in pvr.nextpvr/inputstream.ffmpegdirect and reported that the video lags audio dramatically when skipping and I am able to duplicate that.  This video shows the problem pretty well the second try shows the end skip issue a bit better without buffering.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Y0MlbYP...e=youtu.be

I don't get the issue or those h/w decode errors when I just start playback.

Other than that the function is working very weel.

Strange. I have never seen a hardware accelerator error like that before.

What happens if hw accel is turned off?

Thanks for getting back to me.  I get the same  audio well ahead of video issue without the hw error https://paste.kodi.tv/uyubotacol.kodi

It is still FFmpeg 4.3-Kodi with 1.15.0 if you think that is the issue.
