I am trying to configure Kodi Server to access my media files on my Synology NAS using NFS protocol. I have my media folders in subfolders of my shared folders. I have two issues:

1. I can see the shared folders in Kodi but I can't seem to be able to get Kodi to see the media files under those shared folders
   
2. I can't seem to be able to configure Kodi to add media from subfolders of my shared folders. When I try I get an error message that says it could not retrieve directory information.
   

Any idea how I may go about fixing the above issues?

Syno NASes can have default settings for NFS that "interfere" with Kodi's internal NFS.
Can you SSH into your NAS and tell what the contents of the /etc/exports file is?
