There is an issue I noticed in kodi 19. When I turn the tv off and on the audiodevice is greyed out and kodi plays pcm.
The constellation is shield tv -->receiver-->TV
No cec
Display is set to stay active.
After turning on the tv again I have to manually restart kodi to get back audio passthrough.
The setting keep audiodevice active doesn't change anything.
I there already a solution for this?

I try to make this issue more clear.
I know kodi 19 is not 100% ready yet and Im not complaining. Just want to let you know about my issue.
In kodi 18 it worked well. Kodi 19 shows now two audio devices: Android IEC packer and Kodi IEC packer.

I think my receiver turns on a bit to slow when kodi already detected audio devices. And when my receiver is ready the audio passthrough is already inactive. Only way to make it active again is to restart kodi.

I would like to use kodi only on my shield tv without restarting the app. This problem would not happen with cec but since kodi is crashing when waking up the shield with cec I would rather use IR control.

maybe it would be possible to implement a recheck for audio devices after a delay?
