I've been a happy user of Kodi for quite a while. I have it running on my Mac Mini in the living room, connected to my 65" Samsung TV.
This week I ran the latest MacOSX update to Catalina 10.15.6. Ever since this upgrade I'm having issues with Kodi when I turn off my TV. When I turn it back on, Kodi is still running but on a much smaller resolution so it only shows a black screen. I then have to manually exit Kodi. The MacOS then returns to a normal resolution, after which I have to start Kodi again and it works.
I was running Kodi v17 and already tried upgrading to the latest version of Kodi v18.8 Leia, but unfortunately that didn't help.
Can someone please help me with a solution to this problem? Are more people experiencing this problem after upgrading to the latest Catalina 10.15.6?
