I tried to reset my kodi due to issues,

first i tried deleting, empty trash and redownload .....still showed up with all the previous settings.

then i tried looking for log files like kodi.log etc followed the instructions on many sites...didnt work, no files found.

then i found a page that stated you needed to show hidden files. Tried that, still nothing.

completely stumped. How do i reset to original default.

Rename/remove the ~/Library/Application Support/Kodi folder.

There is no kodi file under application support. I checked hidden folders too. I know... im baffled


update

ok after alot more looking it appears i found it. In an odd place. Deleted it, deleted kodi app, rebooted, redownloaded and.....its the same setup as before? Ok stumped again, repeated....same thing.

wemt through again and oddly found 2 different kodi.log files in different locations. Deleted both and app and then reinstalled. Settings still as it was previously not to default.

i did a method where i add an input drive called. Www.dimitriology.com and it worked. My movie posters are back too in a full reset. ( i misspelled it to prevent a link.)

unless someone knows something bad about this method i guess im good. Wish i knew how to reset to default normally but at least i got a fix.
