Not sure if this is related to http://www.xbmc.org/forum/showthread.php?t=35648 or not but every time I play a movie and then hit x to stop playback xbmc freezes solid. I don't get a white screen, the image just freezes and I can't do anything. I can't resize, esc, etc. A killall -9 is the only thing that works to get my window back. The last build that this did not happen was from July 14. I have been compiling every few days thinking it was probably just something that slipped through the cracks and would get sorted out. Also, just in the most recent svn listed below, none of the textures seem to show up. ie I get no button/backgrounds etc in any skin. Just text.

Tried again with an updated build. Same symptoms. On stopping a movie xbmc freezes solid and textures don't seem to appear in any skin. I am pretty sure it is probably something stupid I am doing (it usually is ). This is the new log and revision number.

The image freezes on the screen and I have no control over xbmc. ie I can not toggle fullscreen etc. I have to killall -9 to get my screen back. So I am assuming that would be a "hang" Let me know if you need more info. Cheers.
