Hi,

How can I make an external player the default for DVDs or .IFO files.

I have added:
<advancedsettings>
<video>
<defaultplayer>externalplayer</defaultplayer>
</video>
<externalplayer>
<filename>path to my player</filename>
<forceontop>true</forceontop>
<hideconsole>true</hideconsole>
<hidecursor>false</hidecursor>
</externalplayer>
</advancedsettings>

But when I look at the logs, this sets the default player for videos to "externalplayer" but the default dvd player hasn't changed.

Is there a way to set the default dvd player to be an external player?

When I go to my system info, it says that I'm running:

XBMC 9.04.1 R20672 (Compiled: Jun 2 2009)

I downloaded it last week. Is there a way to download the compiled version of r20983?
