Hi,
I searched the forums if this was already talked about or implemented but couldn't see anything..
I have my DVD backup in xvid format, but would like to be able to skip through the video (chapters). Can importing chapter info (either via nfo or someother means) for avi files be added?
Chapter - bookmarking import support

I suggest your best bet is using a container format that has chapter support, such as mkv or mp4.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting. Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules. For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first. ![]() |

Yeah, AVI does not support chapters as far as I know (mkv or mp4 does).
...but XBMC does support EDL (Edit Decision Kist) and SceneMarkers, see: http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=EDL Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
