I have installed Matrix on the above Sony with no problems.
I'm getting suggestions for Kodi on the Home page, similar to Netflix, You Tube etc.
Only some of these have a picture to go with the suggestions, in fact only one which is Good Lord Bird .I have to move over  them to find out what is the suggestion.
As it is it's fairly useless ,but if it was similar to say Netflix it might have some merit.
I assume that this is not a Kodi feature but  Sony .
I can get rid of this feature by disabling it Home Screen menu.

Update 
I'm now getting more suggestions which mostly include a picture for the video. Music does not give a picture, which isn't a surprise.
Will probably disable feature.
