Hi there!
It would be really nice that the xbmc can show videos (ex. made by a digicam) unter "Pictures". If you want to show friends your pictures you can show the taken videos too.

As a workaround you can use the "Switch media" button in the context menu.

I edited my advancedsettings to contain
<pictureextensions> <add>.avi|.mpg|.mpeg|.mov</add> <remove>.ex3|.ex4</remove> </pictureextensions> but when browsing to a movie it only turned black. Shall this work, or do I have to do something else? EDIT What I mean is when the videos is in the same dir as the pictures.. /Söder

Hello,
I have used advancedsettings.xml to add .avi to the picture extensions. but I only get the first frame of the video as a picture. I was kind of expecting it to play the video, am I doing something wrong? Is this how it is meant to go |

There's more involved. There's a trac ticket requesting such support already. To do it properly will take some time.
