I’m using Kodi 18.9 along with AS 3.3.0. I like to use the slideshow along with the Spotify addon. I think I can say I have everything setup correctly. If my playlist starts a particular song by a particular artist, the backgrounds that were previously downloaded from fanart.tv to my hard drive play as they should. The issue is I find that if new images are loaded into fanart.tv by whomever, AS settles for the previously downloaded images on the hard drive and does not go back to fanart.tv to check for any new images that may have been uploaded since. I figured out that if I delete all of the previously downloaded images for say artist X, and then play a song by artist X, then AS will go back to fanart.tv and download every background available and put those into the correct artist folder. The bottom line is how can I get AS to always look for and download newly added images for whatever artist is playing?
