I'm having issues where everything looks good, but no matter what I choose, between kodi > GPU > TV (Full, full full), limited-full-limited, etc I will either get crushed blacks on everything, or grey bars on SDR content but the blacks look right in the actual video and HDR looks correct.
Seems to be a bug somewhere. No matter what I try.
Setups is HTPC Ryzen 5 3400g > HDMI > Denon x4700 8k AVR > HDMI > Samsung Q70t 4k qled tv.
Latest windows 10
As seen in pic, the blacks in the movie look fine and everything looks as it should, however the aspect ratio bars are a light grey and are very noticeable on dark scenes.
Considering that the grey bars show up in the screenshot, it would indicate that the TV or AVR is not the issue, but it's either kodi, w10 or AMD GPU/APU
However, playing this same file back in any other video player like VLC or windows media player, it plays correctly. So seems it's a kodi issue?
