Does anyone know what's going on with the opensubtitles add on as all I'm getting is a message saying is my username or password is empty or not valid 🤷♀️

The OpenSubtitles backend has a daily maintenance window.
Simply try again later on the day and things should work.
You can also double-check the OpenSubtitles website is up.

If that would be the case, the subtitles add-on would never work.
The Opensubtitles add-on works here just fine, in both Kodi 18 and 19 (aka LibreELEC 10).
You sure you typed your login in correctly?
