Hello good people,
I have Minix A2 Lite remote which I have connected to my win10 HTPC. Although I know it is not officially supported, it does work pretty well on windows. Problem is hibernation or sleep function of the OS. Whenever the remote is connected, I am not able to use this function as the remote wakes up PC instantly (disabling this in windows is not an option, since I need the remote to wake the windows when I want it). When remote is not connected, but I connect classic mouse or keyboard, function works as expected. So I'm sure the A2 Lite is waking windows instantly (probably issuing some additional commands or something after hibernation procedure starts). Just as an info, same thing is happening if I try to issue command hibernate/sleep inside kodi, but it is obviously windows/remote related, not kodi related problem.
Does anyone have any experience with this remote on windows? Or do you know some other similar remote that works as expected? Problem is that this pc is under my TV as HTPC (movies, emulators, gaming), so I only have remote control attached to it (and some joypads for gaming). I cannot shut it down as there is no way to remotely boot it up, so hibernate/sleep is my only option. This works, but minix remote sends pc to sleep on command and then immediately wakes it up (confirmed it using powercfg)...
