I've been long time waiting for (same name) account to work at kodi.wiki , and no news from CMS.
If I retry registering today, it tells account name already exists.
I've tried to "recover password" too, but no mail link is sent.

Unfortunately MediaWiki is very rudimentary with account maintenance, so there very little I can do at my end.

I assume I registered that MediaWiki account with my old e-mail address (informatica...) and it's the one I've just specified to ask PasswordReset. But no mail arrives there.

Please, can you check if that's the right registered e-mail and not the current I'm using here at MyBB (narcisgarcia...)
And if Wiki site is sending notifications without problem.

Yes that is the one.
Your username has a capital N. Maybe that makes a difference.

It's near to seem so: kodi.wiki instance sends mail by using mailman1.ibiblio.org mail service, and this mailing server (or Mailman instance?!) announces communication with a different and unexisting name: mailman2.ibiblio.org

Is MediaWiki configured to use some account at lists.ibiblio.org to send mails?

I think solution is:
a) Checking if this Mediawiki instance is doing mail sending with default server. Try to not use $wgSMTP at LocalSettings.php
b) If no $wgSMTP is configured, then configure an external e-mail account for notifications: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:$wgSMTP

Thanks, but I think we all know pretty well what the conctruct of a Wiki page is. There is no need for kicking into open doors.
