Android Random Audio Dropouts
#1
Hi,
I have recently dipped my toe into Kodi for the first time, via  a T95Q box with Kodi 19.4.

It is connected to HDMI 4 on an Onkyo TX SR 875 AVR, which in turn connects to HDMI 1 on a Hisense TV.

The audio dropouts only happen watching anything via the Binge app. The video is unaffected, as far as I can tell, and apart from the dropouts, the audio is fine. All the other apps as unaffected.

I have replaced the T95Q, no change. I have replaced the HDMI cables, no change. I have connected the T95Q direct to the Hisense TV, no change.

If I Chromecast Binge from another Android device to the Onkyo, it works fine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

cheers,

Rob.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Thanks.

I have created a log file containing the bug, but I can't work out how to upload it.
