Solved Battery setting not showing
#1
Hi, thanks for the job you've done, i like it so much.

I'm using kodi since few years with raspberry, and i've finaly made the decision to switch my old hp pavillon to kodi for a full media center for the travel.

But, for doing a good travel media center i need to know battery level, and sadly i'm unable to activate this data, i don't know if i've made a mistake somewhere, or if it's a bug from the kodi repo, but there is no battery notifications in the skins menu, and i'm sure that i'm using a device powered by battery. can you help me ?

Hi @pst402

Thanks for the kind words and support

Maybe your device doesn't allow acces to that information.

Please go to System > System Info > Summary
The first tab should automatically show battery information at the bottom:

Hi @Gade , thanks again for your answer. Everything is solved, the problem came from the system ( librelec ) which did not transmit/catch the battery level. So I made a complete change, switched to mint, and install kodi on top, sad to lose the fast side of loading a single system for a whole OS  + overlay entertainment.
