Greetings,

I am having issue with the Foxtel Go Add-on. Using Kodi 19.4 x64 on Windows 10. Have used Kodi for a while so know my way around it with no problems.

The issue is that if I play Fox Sports 506 for instance, it plays for about 5-10 seconds then it freezes showing a cicle with a number 2 in the centre and I have to press the stop button to get out of it. Sometimes it says 1 instead of 2. If I play Fox 8 it plays continuously with no issues at all.
I have also tried Kodi 19 x86 and even the Kodi 20 RC.

That's called buffering. Reduce the quality and see if that helps

I set it to the lowest possible quality setting and still same result. If it's a buffering issue, something else must be causing it because I am on a 100/40 connection and can stream Foxtel with no issues in a browser. Also if it's buffering it should eventually catch up and continue playing the stream but it doesn't, it freezes after 5-10 seconds and doesn't resume. I have to press the stop button to exit the channel.

So foxtel go addon is no longer playing live TV streams for me now. Looks like something encryption/licence related. Errors in log

If your non-android, make sure your widevine cdm is the latest. Settings>advanced>reinstall widevine cdm

Anyone know how to fix this. Trying to steam Foxtel go on my Xbox Lodi app but this keeps coming. ?

Kayo Sports - Error
Kodi Microsoft UP version does not support Widevine playback.
If using Windows, use the .exe installer version from the Kodi website instead.

It's exactly as the message says - XBox doesn't support Widevine.
There's nothing that can be done about that, as Widevine is needed to support the playback of the stream.
