XBMS support

Does the XBMSP support in the Mac version of XBMC actually work? I just tried it while running 8.10-b1: adding a network source works fine, but after selection a networksource it immediately complains 'Could not connect to network server'. xbmc doesn't seem to contact the remote host at all: tcpdump -n host 1.2.3.4 doesn't log any packets at all..

Did anybody got this to work?

(this does work fine in the Linux version of XBMC Wink

Can you post the contents of ~/Library/Logs/xbmc.log to a pastebin site (http://pastebin.com/) after trying again. This way we can see why it is failing.

Thanks

I am having the same problem. Using the Windows version on the same Mac (running XP) with exactle the same network settings does allow access to an XBMSP server. Also PLEX (latest download) works using XBSMP. Are you sure the XBSMP code is actually included...
