Classical music - my ideal hierarchy for Composer, Work and Recordings
#1
As a newbie in Kodi I understand that the Musicbrainz - Work (or WorkId) tag (as supported by Picard) is not supported in Kodi... :-(

I would like to be able to present my classical music in the following hierarchy:
Composer
   |-Genre
      |- Work
          |- Recording (or Album)
             | - Tracks (= movements)
For instance (fictional example):
Mozart (image)
  |- All*
  |- Symphonies
  |     |- All*
  |     |- Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550
  |     |     |- Abbado, late Mozart Symphonies (image)
  |     |     |    | - 01. Symphony nr 40 - I. Molto Allegro
  |     |     |    | - 02. Symphony nr 40 - II. Andante
  |     |     |    | - 03. Symphony nr 40 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
  |     |     |    | - 04. Symphony nr 40 - IV. Finale Allegro Assai
  |     |     |- Hatink, Mozart Symphony nr 40, Opera Ouvertures (image)
  |     |     |    | - 06. Symphony nr 40 - I. Molto Allegro
  |     |     |    | - 07. Symphony nr 40 - II. Andante
  |     |     |    | - 08. Symphony nr 40 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
  |     |     |    | - 09. Symphony nr 40 - IV. Finale Allegro Assai
  |     |- Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551
  |     |     |- Abbado, late Mozart Symphonies (image)
  |     |     |    | - 05. Symphony nr 41 - I. Allegro Vivace
  |     |     |    | - 06. Symphony nr 41 - II. Andante Cantabile
  |     |     |    | - 07. Symphony nr 41 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
  |     |     |    | - 08. Symphony nr 41 - IV. Molto Allegreo
  |- Chamber Music

As simpler hierarchy I could also live without Genre:
Mozart (image)
    |- Symphony No. 40 in G minor, K. 550
    |     |- Abbado, late Mozart Symphonies (image)
    |     |    | - 01. Symphony nr 40 - I. Molto Allegro
    |     |    | - 02. Symphony nr 40 - II. Andante
    |     |    | - 03. Symphony nr 40 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
    |     |    | - 04. Symphony nr 40 - IV. Finale Allegro Assai
    |     |- Hatink, Mozart Symphony nr 40, Opera Ouvertures (image)
    |     |    | - 06. Symphony nr 40 - I. Molto Allegro
    |     |    | - 07. Symphony nr 40 - II. Andante
    |     |    | - 08. Symphony nr 40 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
    |     |    | - 09. Symphony nr 40 - IV. Finale Allegro Assai
    |- Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551
    |     |- Abbado, late Mozart Symphonies (image)
    |     |    | - 05. Symphony nr 41 - I. Allegro Vivace
    |     |    | - 06. Symphony nr 41 - II. Andante Cantabile
    |     |    | - 07. Symphony nr 41 - III. Menuetto Allegretto
    |     |    | - 08. Symphony nr 41 - IV. Molto Allegreo
    |- Don Giovanni
    ...
    ...

Anyone any ideas how to accomplish that, or something like that??

I know you haven't gotten reply, as there isn't a good answer.  The best I can offer is to experiment with smart playlists and the grouping options.  I think an alternative might be with a custom plug-in that leverages python code, but I don't see a good way of doing one that wouldn't have to bring its own "work" database, and how to get that (maybe pull from musicbrainz somehow)?
