Install via web interface or ssh

I don't have a monitor attached to the raspberry running kodi so I wish there is a way to install add-ons via ssh or web interface.

Any help?

You can try this and see if it works for you.
  • Put your addon in the addon folder (Extract from zip or copy the folder).
  • Restart kodi and enable the addon via the web interface, Settings>Addons.

Thanks, it worked. But you really could have told me where the addon folder is located. It took me 5 minutes to find it ... Wink

and you could have mentioned what operating system you are running so that any path mentioned was relevant to your installation, if linux based it's in ~/.kodi if it's librelec it's in /storage
(linux based=debian, ubuntu, rpios, raspberry pi os)

It's a Raspberry Pi 2 with hifiberry DACplus addition running libreelec 11.0.4 .
It works nice.
Next week I will add a Sony VPL-HW45ES for home cinema.
Hopefully, the video quality of Raspberry is good enough.
Thanks for the support.
