Hi I'm new here and was wondering if its possible to do this, since you can install Linux on PS3. Was wondering if XBMC will work? If so has anyone gotten it to run?

I really want to use my PS3 as a mediacenter for all my stuff. I was hoping that xbmc made its way to the PS3 as a port but it never happened Sad

So my only hope now is to install Linux on the PS3 and then hopefully install xbmc on there?

Please help me out if you guys know how to do this. Hope it's not too difficult.

Please look at the top of the screen. There is a Search link.

Type in PS3 and you will get quite a few hits where people have already asked this Smile

The problem right now is that XBMC is running very slow because the graphical processor of the PS3 is not used. But according to Gitbrew's twitter they're working on a driver for the processor right now: https://twitter.com/#!/gitbrew

So it might be possible to use XBMC on PS3 very soon!

It accepts no less than 4 letters. Cannot type in ps3.
