Android Update 21 on Android TV broke ftp source, Windows works
#1
Hello,

My Shield TV version of Kodi updated to 21 yesterday and since then I am no longer able to access my source at "ftp://host.com:21/files/|auth=TLS&verifypeer=false". I have confirmed that at least one more person is experiencing the same issue.

Windows version of 21 still supports the very same source.

Any tips on fixing this?

I can also reliably reproduce this issue, and I also tried with but a clean install of Kodi on Windows (works fine) and a second Android device (broken).

Note that it does work on Android too without TLS, but that's not really an option for obvious reasons.

A debug log with component logging activated for curl:

Glad it's not just me.

Don't have a bug log, but similar to blunden I tried doing the same fresh set up in windows and it works fine.

On my firecube it seems it just doesn't save the inputted paths correctly.

Fire Cube Gen3 on Kodi 21/omega here. Same issue, works on PC but not on the cube.

Seems this seems to be a confirmed bug, somebody should really create a new issue here: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues

Thay way, a developer can take a look at it.
