#31
And Mplayer for OSX can play rmvb immediately after click Play button.

How about you provide a link to some rmvb then. Davilla isn't going to spend time trying to find one so you need to find one for him.

if it isn't blatantly clear;

noone will hunt down a rmvb file to fix your issue. you have to atleast do that bit for us. there are tons of filehosting sites out there you can use to get a file which is CONFIRMED broken (see, just that bit is important) to a dev.

No it is not.

How about you download it and send it to some file sharing site.

If you want something looked at and fixed, you need to make it easy to get the information/files.

there is nothing guaranteeing that those files are broken.

whenever someone claim 'all' xxxx files exhibit a problem, the only answer to give them is
'did you try all files out there?'

edit: and appreciate the effort queep, just explaining why just some random rmvb links isn't enough

I have used the forum search tool to try to solve my problem but was not successful! Anyone care to help?

I am new to AppleTV and XBMC, and just successfully installed and uploaded a .rmvb file to the AppleTV with the Babylon XBMC and Launcher 3.

The video can be played with sound, but the quality is poor, it seems to run choppy or laggy.

I am using 1080p as the resolution and have also tried 1080i but that does not make a difference.

Please guide me anyone?

Thanks in advance!Stare

you launch xbmc, play the .rmvb file, enough to show the problem, then exit xbmc. get xbmc.log. pastebin it.
