Hi Gang,
I tried to configure XBMC last saturday but to no avail.
I installed it on my Imac 24". A 720p LCD projector is plugged in the external display connector of the imac. So I have two screens : one is 1920*1200 the other 7280*720.
What I wanted to do is : display XBMC on the projector while the iMac image is being darkened.
The problems were:
I was not able to have it run full screen on the secondary device automaticaly, I need to move the main XBMC window to the 2nd display then use \ to go full screen. Is it a way for XBMC to be displayed at the right place at launch?
I was not able to properly display a full hd movie on the secondary display. The aspect ratio I got was each time deformed or truncated (part of the image missing). How should I configure XBMC to work with two screens of two different resolutions?
