When I set to MediaStream, movies do not play. It works with any other thread. here's the text from the log file:

That's probably a pretty good hint, hehe. Are you using the "lite" mode?

I'm fairly new to XBMC, so not sure what the lite mode is. Can you help me to understand it better and how to change it?

Settings>Appearance>Skin Theme> (Default or Lite)

Thanks. This skin only has one theme available. I disabled some of the fan art and was able to show 2 movies, but the 3rd hung running out of memory again.

Tried that. I used version 94 and 95 and two different XBOX's with 2 different versoins of XBMC. One was the latest oct 6th build. Still have same problem.

I reduced video playback to 720P and it works now. Would love to find a way to get it working with 1080 as one of these is in my media room with a large screen.

Buy a PC/MAc and use that for XBMC as the Xbox is really gonna struggle with 1080p
