XBMC/BoxeeLauncher 0.4 bugfix release.

For those interested:
Launcher 0.3 used wget to update Keymap.xml, which caused problems for users that didn't use atv-usb-creator / didn't have wget installed.
XBMC/BoxeeLauncher 0.4 has a bundled Keymap.xml which is now used instead. Sorry for the trouble.

Howto update:
-If you don't have a Launcher version already running, please see
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=XBMC_for_Mac_on_Apple_TV for details.

-If XBMCLauncher or BoxeeLauncher is already installed, the update should be present now in Update menu. The update will installed the combined version and remove the old launchers.

If there are any issues with the launcher, those 2 files are pretty interesting to see (pastebin or http://www.rafb.net/paste):
/Users/Frontrow/Library/Logs/xbmc.log
/mnt/Scratch/Library/Logs/Console/501/console.log

I'm a Windows user who successfully used Lumpsack's method to get XBMC running on AppleTV (see http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=38882 for details). Anyway, I had a non-responding remote in XBMC with the 0.3.1 update also. I would love to get improved remote performance in XBMC for AppleTV, but I'm nervous to give this a try. To recover last time, I had to do a factory restore and lost all of my settings, plus my video and music database.

If any folks out there have success with this 0.4 update, please post your results here!

Well, I backed up my Video and Music databases and took the plunge...

No problem, it works fine!

Updated 2.2 AppleTV to 0.4 Launcher.

Now XBMC key mappings have changed on the Apple Remote. I can no longer hold Play button to access Context Menu when browsing media. Anyone know how to? Thanks.

Thanks davilla, couldn't seem to work that one out for myself Blush Cheers. All else seems A No.1 OK so far.
