Also @ managed code, it doesnt have to be slow thats simply not true, quite alot of PC games run managed code. Another prime example of managed code is XNA which is xbox360 / PC managed development for games.
So all in all Managed code != Slow performance necessarily.
Per usual Managed code is slower but not to the extreme. it does however take alot more ram and such because of the VM.
