Am I able to see the Apple TV using Vista and make any changes to the settings file like I was able to do on my Xbox, or do I need to have a mac to make these changes.

Thanks.

Little vague here, media content on vista will be accessible from the AppleTV if your media content is vista is a smb share point.

you can use ssh to connect a terminal session to the AppleTV and from there use nano to edit any of the xbmc xml files.

Thanks for the info, that's what I was looking for. I am just used to the days where I ftp to my xbox and make changed to the xml file and copy new versions of xbmc when there are changes. I guess I'll probably not have to do this very much at all.

What program would be the best to terminal into the AppleTV?

Thanks
