Hi all

Hope you can help. I have current beta2 of t3ch release but have had problems with scripts etc for a while. The only ones that work are the apple movie trailers and t3ch upgrader. If i install revision3 script or xbmcscripts from xbmcscipts.com it begins to start but then stops. After some digging i grabbed the xbmc log file.

I can see the error but cannot work out how to fix it?

xbmcscripts should work.. have changed a description with some international characters that might be the reason, please try it again.

in revision3 (default.py) on line 43, you need to change:

ROOT_DIR = os.getcwd()[:-1]+'\\'

into the following:

then it should work.

Great I'll give that a try, I did retry the xbmcscripts multiple times, deleting from Q and from E and reinstalling. It looks like its going to startup (ie says running) then says adding categories and then stops running with same error message. Weird huh?

Ideas?

BTW i have 2 machines and both do it.

The saga continues

I edited the revision 3 script and it brought up the listing which is much better than before but now when i goto play a video i get this error in the log

I even dropped the cache sizes in case that was causing issue but when i play files now it hangs hard. Stops network function etc.
