XBMC Live/Intel 965 Support
#1
I have been trying to get my new HTPC to run XBMC Live for the past couple of days, booting from USB.
I've searched the forums (and have tried a few ideas), however I am having real trouble getting to XBMC.

It won't boot from either the CD nor the USB key into the actual interface. I choose option 3 (Intel) when asked and it shows the 'loading' splash screen and thats it...

It did manage to boot into the interface once. However, (and I changed nothing aside from the Audio settings) upon reboot it went back to the blank screen.

There are two files on the USB key - restrictedDrivers.amd.img and restrictedDrivers.nvidia.img.

Should there be one for Intel?

Just to note - I have never used Linux before. I have no knowledge whatsoever of its workings/processes.

Intel Core 2 Duo E8200 2.66GHz (Retail 775) Wolfdale core

it says the newer intel chipsets aren't well supported(G45, does that apply to G35 too?), seems you might have to wait for the next version

the weird thing is that it worked at the first try, not to mention I have a 965 myself and is well supported by Hardy drivers.
Can you rebuild a live USB and try again?
