sounds good.
some comments on a default skin (in my view): a default skin shouldn't be bloated. more of a plain look that is easy to add functionality to. tho this doesn't have to mean that its boring, but on the virge. i believe a reason why the previous default skin (msmediacenter) worked so good was that it was forgiving when it came to design. by that i mean that it was hard to make things look bad when adding stuff. not sure why but maybe because it wasn't too complex in the design?
a default skin can't be too specialised either like fex my retro.
xbmc (and mp) deserves a professionally designed skin so let's make look proffesional. count on me if help is needed Smile

big fashion/colour-scheme no-no, you should never mix red, blue, green and/or yellow as they clash, (gf making me watch diy shows Blush )

fyi: got message from sf telling to remove xme skin from xbmc (which we have), plus we're not allowed to call anything "media experience".
ps! sourceforge (patrick mcgovern) also said they where told dell has applied for trademark protection on the phrase "dell media experience".
finally, in addition patrick mcgovern (sf.net) also suggested that we may also want to distance our look-and-fell from any of dell's product.
@wabidwoveren, best if not call it anything with "media experience" in it, even if you moved to to the skinning project or remove from sf.net
