J.River Media Center can do a ton of stuff... but it is most powerful with music, far exceeding XBMC on the management/library side. And it can do multi-zone (different streams directed to specific channels) audio.
It would be great to have an interface to control JRMC's media library and zone capabilities for playback... while allowing JRMC "manage" the music library itself.
