I am having an issue with segfaults whenever I attempt to scan to library on video. Since I have XBMC set to scan for new items on startup, this creates a problem. If I wipe out my .xbmc folder, I am able to watch videos without using the library mode.

Probably an x86_64 problem. I don't think any of our devs are setup for x86_64 ATM, so switching to 32bit is likely your quickest fix.
