just done a clean install of Ibex in my machine. CPU used to permanently be at 100% on this machine but not anymore which is great. But it crashes all over the place.

For example I can simply be navigating around the menus and it will freeze.

Ubuntu Ibex
XBMC 8.10 8.10 SVN 16164 installed from PPA
i686 architecture
ATI graphics - Radeon 9600 M10

I got this log after xbmc crashed when I was in the Appearance settings : http://pastebin.com/m5de9a486 - strange thing is that I didn't get a core file after this crash even though I had to reboot my machine.

FYI I just removed pulseaudio packages from my system to get around crashes in video playback.
