As most of you already know, I begun the Horizonz Project about five months ago with one objective in mind, completing our favourite skin Aeon, in style. Since then, Horizonz has reached new highs and due to your overwhelming support, it's achieved even more than I could have imagined five months ago. So, Thank you for that!

Since Volume III arrived more or less a month ago, I've moved half way across the world, which was a big step forward in my life, but unfortunately, a big step back in the developemental progress of Horizonz. Over the last few months, I've spent hundreds of hours putting this skin together, as well as taking feature requests, offering support to those who needed it and trying to be more in touch with the XBMC forum than most skinners are these days. This skin was developed with you in mind, and with over 70% of updates being user-driven directly from forum suggestions and opinions, I believe we can agree that I've kept my promise to as many of you as possible. Now, to not sound ungreatful for all the support this skin has received, I need your help with something.

During my move from the UK, the shipping company lost around $2000 worth of my valuables including my laptop and newly purchased XBOX. Both of these items were essential to Horizonz developemental future and without them, I was stuck with a borrowed PC which freezes after a few minutes in XBMC. Now, even that has PC decided to let me down, which has completely ended my hopes of finishing a new Volume in the near future. As you all know, moving isn't cheap and with my finances, and some unagreeable dependents, I'm unable to do any further development on Horizonz. So, under these circumstances, an update would only be expected logically around mid february, as I'm starting a new job in january.

So, I'm hoping that with your help I can accumulate enough cash to purchase a PC as soon as possible. I have the whole of December in which to finish Volume IV, but unfortunately, circumstance does not allow this unless I get some hardware that'd allow me to do so. So, hear I am, appealing to you to repay the countless hours I've spent creating this skin for you, with a small donation. I'd expect a new low-spec PC to cost around $300-$400, so anything small in accumulation would help towards me getting Horizonz back on track. I know, donations aren't very XBMC friendly, as it is an open source project, but, if you can overlook that ideology and give me a helping hand, it would be much appreciated, and surely, everybody will be more happy if I could get a new Volume out sooner rather than later, but If you don't mind waiting for Volume IV, thats fine as well. This is a favour and not a demand!

Obviously, anything small such as $5-$15 would be great and PAYPAL is the safest and quickest way to donate, seeing as I'm in South Africa, so here's my Email Address again so you can PAYPAL me your donation:

Sorry for the long message, but I wouldn't want to insult anyone by not telling the entire story and nothing but. I hope you can help me out, and I know one of you has already offered to, so thank you for that. Look forward to hearing from you and please, don't stop communicating with me, feature requests and suggestions are still extremely welcome.

Thanks again for all your support.

P.S If any further information is needed on my part, please let me know asap

I would imagine that if you had posted new screenshots for Volume IV you'd have at least 10 replies by now in the 2 hours since you posted this.

Funny how people keep quiet when you ask them for a few pennies...

Will make a donation shortly as I currently use this skin.

Update

Your out of luck mate, Paypal doesn't want you to have any money.

"Currently PayPal accounts in South Africa are only able to send payments. This recipient is not eligible to receive funds"

@Livin

I took the cheap option and it bombed on me.... sent plenty of stuff on ships before, and nothing ever got lost... go figure... think I've leant my lesson now though...

@Everyone

Hooked up the above screenshot on a mates computer... so, just trying to add some stuff into his library so I can take a few screenshots for all of you guys... would love to hear what you thinkConfused... desperate to finish... and with a PC, I reckon I could finish it in a week or so... So give a skinner a hand... hehehe... Great on all the support so far!!!!

I'll definately send you something when I get home, don't trust this work computer one bit!

Anyways, I love Horizonz and can't bare the thought of it dying out like Aeon did. EVERYONE, donate to the a good cause, and save this amazing skin. Looking forward to screenshots!
