making GetDirectory platform independant

Im trying to use the http api command getdirectory which seems to do what it says on the tin

but i want to get the contents of the web folder which is different depending on what platform Im on

can anyone suggest a way to do this
is there some way to get the actual system path to Q:\ then adding web and putting that into getdirectory?
