Sorry guys I assumed the following from NVIDIA meant that no matter what the GPU took over H.264 decoding:

The GPU will happily accept the decoding job, assuming that the player sends it over.

Kind of like a handyman. They will gladly come and fix up your kitchen sink and take all the load off of you, but you have to call them first.

Thanks for the constructive reply. It must be my dual core setup that is allowing me to do 1080p pretty flawlessly.
