Has anyone try to install xbmc on this HW? I just bought one, and I don' t like its too poor interface.
I found that it is a linux device with enabled telnet (user root without any passwd), but the root filesystem is mounted read only.
I wish try some changes, but I am a little frigthned to be the first!
Could anyone give me help?

Thanks!

Short answer:
If it doesn't have Intel or AMD i386 based CPU + OpenGL 1.4 Video, then your bet is it wont run at all.

The magic word is 'mips'. this is the architecture of the cpu. So there is no support for xbmc.

More detailed information about the cpu you can find by typing
cat /proc/cpuinfo
