Adjust refresh rate problem
#1
Hi,

I upgraded from svn today to 16499, and since doing so, if i have Adjust refresh rate enabled, when i play a video it changes the refresh rate but displays the video in a windowed screen, granted a very big almost fullscreen-screen, but windowed. i can not flick back to full screen either by pressing \ it just resizes the image in the big window slightly. This was working 1 week ago on a build from SVN (i dont know the revision). I think what is happening and i may be way off base here, is that the auto adjust is choosing a rate that my tv can not handle. I say this as even though it says it is in full screen mode in XBMC it also says 1920x1080@70hz which my TV can not do. It is a 1080i TV so I am pretty sure it can only effectivly do 60hz max (30 realistically)? Like i say, it was working fine a week ago and working well, video was looking great weather it was 25Fps or 23.98Fps.
I have ripped out xbmc totaly and re-compiled from SVN and still no joy.

I have a totally minimal install so no compiz, just xfce and xbmc. Myth as backend only.

I have searched for hours now as i have seen the irate messages about not searching first for a similar issue to what i am describing but none of those posts have helped.

Here is my log:http://pastebin.com/m6232381d

Sorry if this is a know issue but i can not find any reference to what i am seeing except for windowed in full screen mode relating to compiz, which i dont have installed.

Any Ideas? Is this a bug with the refresh adjuster or a dumb ass setting (on my behalf) i have overlooked (hopefully)?
