Hi Guys,

Not sure if I explained my problem clearly in an earlier post.

Here is my XBMC with all my TV Shows stored on that PC

As you can see all the fanart and info is scrapped. And when you type C the menu comes up with TV Show Information.

OK so that is all fine

My problem is I have another PC with nothing on it except Windows 7 and XBMC
I added source from SMB and set content to TV Shows

Here is the result

As you can see the metadata info has scrapped but the fanart has not. Now there is no way to access TV Show Information when I press C. So how do I get the fanart to display over the SMB share?

I did an export to single file and imported it but it does not solve the issue.

Can anyone help with this.

Am I the only person in the whole XBMC community that has this issue?

I dont understand.....I have everything tagged correctly, why is only the metadata displayed on my new comp and the fanart is not?

Does Aeon Nox have a facility to manually add the fanart on a shared folder.

Like for example why cant I just select TV Show Information and then click on fanart and then browse to SMB share and select the corresponding TV Show from the share and click the fanart then it should display on my PC.

I dont even mind doing each of them manually.

Please help Im completly gobsmacked at this.

Thanks for your reply.

Why do you need to use mysql. I mean all I am doing is opening a share that has all the metadata and all im doing is replicating that share onto a new PC.

Anyways I think I may have solved the issue.

What I did was that I uninstalled XBMC 11 and also went and deleted the Roaming Profile.

Then I installed XBMC 10.1 and i did the exact same thing

Went to Video section and added my source from my HTPC via SMB

Then i set the content to TV Shows and selected OK

Then it started scanning and it took like 40 or so minutes

And once it was completed I set it to Library mode and now all the shows display properly with fanart, banners and tv show/episode information

Now im not sure if its a bug in XBMC 11 or not but for some reason the process didnt work with XBMC 11 but worked fine wih XBMC 10.1

Now my next step in the testing phase is to install the Aeon Nox skin and see if it retains all the info and fanart.
