Hi,
Long time XBMC user, about 3 years. But only just 15 mins ago enabled High Def (I chose 720p) on the old box.
I've got a PAL Xbox so I used this guide:
http://wiki.xbmc.org/?title=HOW-TO_enabl...n_PAL_Xbox
Great easy to follow guide, BUT a nightmare to read the way it is currently formatted. Is it the bullet point list causing it to stretch so wide? It should be amended because...
EVERYONE with a PAL Xbox and a HDTV should pay the £5 quid or so for a component cable and unleash the beast using that guide!!
I went for this cable if anyone is interested in doing the same:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000OF22LG
Looks like they are now out of stock.
If you haven't already done so and your TV is capable, DO IT NOW!! Even standard DVD rips look better because of the up scaling. Any 720p stuff you have will look magnificent.
I was looking forward to a new Man Mini being released so I could go HD but I won't bother until the little black box dies...
