Removed multifinder via menu. Still not working. ATF 2.2 xbmc8.1 launcher now back to0.8. Off to bed now.

Got it working, had to reinstall xbmc from launcher, now all ok (I mean back to original state before I tried to put on 0.4)
Cheers,

0.4 worked perfect on my r2.3. I didn't have to reinstall xbmc and remote worked.
It does take a significantly longer time to go back to frontrow after exiting XBMC though.

The change to multifinder / launcher 2.0 has meant that under 2.3 boxee/xbmc no longer work with 3rd party remotes learnt by the apple tv.
I am not sure if this is an intended change or not. Can someone confirm if this can be brought back?
Also... for those who have enabled iTunes sync to external USB drive, the time to load the finder again after quitting from xbmc/boxee is not insignificant, we're talking maybe a few minutes.
But I do like the idea behind the new approach, especially if it makes it easier to continue supporting newer ATV OS releases.
